How to establish care with Moonlight Midwifery

STEPS to start care

Finding your midwife is such an important step in pursuing homebirth.

Here's my process that has worked well for many years.

1- Learn about my philosophy & practice

Please follow each of these steps and do not skip one. Save the time you have during your consult with me for things that are not answered here..

3. Review risk criteria and whether you fit

2- Contact me via inquiry form

After reading and watching the available information, please submit your details in the inquiry form below. Within a week you will recieve an email back from me with a consult call link if I am able to serve you.

3-Schedule consult call

I offer free 30 minute virtual calls to get to know you and answer questions. I ask that your partner/husband be present and have also reviewed the available information that answers questions on safety, logistics and finances. Bonus tip-- there are good documentaries like Business of Being Born that offer a truthful perspective on why hospital birth his not necessarily safer.

4- Sign the contracts

After the consult, if it mutually feels like a good fit, you'll be emailed contract documents.

After signing the contract for care, the $500 deposit is due.

Within the next two weeks you'll have a 1 hr intake tele-visit and a 1 hr in-person prenatal visit to start care.
